EYFS Profile

The EYFS Profile is a run-down of a child's attainment at the end of their Reception year. This isn't assessed by test and children can't pass or fail this. The EYFS profile measures a child's knowledge and attainment within 17 different areas of learning, these are known as Early Learning Goals including Communication and language development, Physical development and, Understanding of the world. A main purpose for the EYFS profile is to get children in Reception ready for Year 1 and to help their future Year 1 teacher create a plan that will suit all in their new class.
